Nurses' Week

Nurses' Week

Another cause for celebration in early May is Nurses’ Week, which is observed from May 6th-12th. Many celebrations around the world coincide on May 12th in honor of the founder of modern nursing: Florence Nightingale. Each country has its own unique spin, but nurses of various skill and discipline have been recognized throughout the week since 1965. Additionally, since its inaugural celebration, the International Council of Nurses prepares and distributes a Nurses’ Day Kit to aid in the promotion and elevation of budding nursing careers. Nurses use these kits to educate themselves and the public on relevant health care issues.

We’ve prepared our own "Nurses’ Day Kit" with custom arrangements to celebrate and recognize all the hard work of nurses around the world. Take a look at some of our arrangements below:

Gold Standard

First created as a “designer’s choice” this beautiful arrangement includes a mix of peach and pink roses, ranunculus, and a touch of greenery. While beautiful in all sizes, I suggest upgrading to deluxe or premium for this arrangement to get the most bang for your buck.

Hugs and Kisses

With a beautiful mix of deep purples and reds, this pint-sized arrangement is the perfect gift for the special nurse in your life. This arrangement also includes fragrant flowers and seasonal greens, all assembled in one of our favorite vases.

Anemone Glee

Simple and sweet, this arrangement is made up entirely of anemone. Assembled in a sleek box, all the anemones snuggled up together look like a mini garden sprouting in spring.

You can find all these arrangements on our website. We also offer a timed delivery service, which guarantees delivery within a 3 hour window for an added fee. Available time windows include 9am-12pm, 12-pm-3pm, and 3pm-6pm.
